15/16 Inch Sterling Silver Round Blue Enameled Miraculous Medal

15/16 x 13/16 inch polished and enameled finish sterling silver with blue enameled center miraculous medal on a 24 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a blue enameled center with the figure of Mary in it. Around the outside of the enameled frame on the polished border are the words, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." The back of the medal features the letter M, representing Mary, surmounted by a cross representing the sacrifice of Jesus, and surrounded by twelve stars that represent the twelve apostles. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box.

The origin of the miraculous medal comes from the visions Saint Catherine Laboure experienced in the year 1830 of Mary Immaculate.
